While completing his master’s degree at the University of Agder, specializing in distributed systems and machine learning, Tarjei began his career at Integrasco (later acquired by Confirmit/Forsta). Over the course of eight years, he held several key roles including CTO, Chief Data Officer, and Software Developer, with a strong emphasis on data-driven and AI-related product development.

Following that, he co-founded the consultancy Monokkel, which focused on full-stack development and big data solutions. He then joined Klaveness Digital as CTO, where he has spent the past six years driving innovation at the intersection of AI, data engineering, and scalable software systems.
